UI Post-UTME Registration Guide 2026 — Form, Dates & Process

The University of Ibadan has officially announced the registration schedule for the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise. Here are the key dates candidates must note:

• •Registration Portal Closes: Sunday, 19 July 2026
• •Post-UTME CBT Examination: Monday, 27 July 2026 to Wednesday, 29 July, 2026

Warning: UI Registrar G. O. Saliu signed the official notice stating there will be NO extension of the registration period. Complete your registration early on the official portal admissions.ui.edu.ng.

To register for the UI 2026 Post-UTME, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. 1.First Choice: Must have chosen the University of Ibadan as your first choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
2. 2.JAMB Score: Scored at least 200 in the 2026 JAMB UTME. UI uses a uniform cut-off of 200 for all courses, though competitive courses will require much higher aggregates for final admission.
3. 3.O'Level Requirements: Minimum of 5 O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects (including English and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings (one sitting for Medicine/Pharmacy).
4. 4.Age: Be at least 16 years of age by September 30, 2026.

Follow these steps to complete your registration on the official portal:

1. 1.Visit the official UI admissions portal: admissions.ui.edu.ng.
2. 2.Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as username and your Surname in CAPITALS as password.
3. 3.Complete the bio-data form and upload your O'Level results.
4. 4.Generate the transaction invoice and pay the required fee online using Remita (card or bank transfer).
5. 5.Print your payment invoice and print the Post-UTME Screening Photocard. This photocard contains your specific exam date, time, and seat number.
6. 6.Return to the portal regularly for exam notifications and schedules.
